Use the environment to your advantage and grab any chairs or items you see laying around to make short work of Baron. That means there are no pin falls, and you’ll have to win by KO. If you take the match, you’ll fight in a locker room brawl. If you talk to Baron twice you’ll have to opportunity to take him on in a side match. Once you clear this match you’ll be returned to the locker room where you can talk to Baron Corbin and Daniel Bryan one more time. Scoring a pinball will give you one point, and whoever has the most points at the end of the match wins. After the cutscene is over, you’ll be facing Bobby Roode for the US Championship. What you choose here only somewhat changes the conversation, so choose the line you like most. Toss them out of the ring to trigger a cutscene in which you’ll need to choose what to say in your first mic performance. The AI opponents will focus on each other more than the player character, meaning it’s possible to let them fight amongst themselves until you’re in a one-on-one match, at which point your enemy should be worn down. Try separating one opponent from the rest and let the NPCs take each other out until there’s a lot fewer people in the ring. To eliminate opponents you’ll need to either pin them for a three count, which isn’t easy due to the sheer number of opponents, or throw them out of the ring entirely.
Your only objective in this match is to win, meaning you must be the last one standing. Whether you fight or not, you next option is to join the eight-man Battle Royal. You don’t need to win or lose, so don’t worry too much about the outcome. If you accept the match, you’ll immediately fight Jinder Mahal. If you speak to Jinder Mahal a second time, you’ll have the chance to fight him in a side match. After the scene, you’ll be put in the Smackdown locker room. Start Chapter 5 by talking with Cole Quinn, which will trigger a cutscene.
